Your Selling Studio
Privacy Policy
- This is the privacy policy for the Studio itself — the software at yoursellingstudio.com. It is not the privacy policy for any individual seller's shop; each seller writes their own, and you can find it on their pages.
- We never send bulk or marketing email on a seller's behalf. A seller's buyer list leaves the Studio as a CSV file or an RSS feed, never as a mailing we send for them.
- Pages a seller publishes run in a locked-down browser mode that cannot read or write cookies or local storage, so by default nothing on a seller's page tracks a visitor across the web. That changes only if a seller turns on their own ad pixel (Section 7), which is their tool, not ours.
- We do not sell personal information, and we do not run ads.
- Card numbers are typed directly into Stripe's own checkout. They never reach our servers.

1. Who and what this covers
Your Selling Studio ("the Studio," "we," "us") is a Your Biz Bestie product, built and operated by The Kreative Kapitol, Inc. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you (a) buy or use the Studio as a seller, or (b) visit or buy from a page a seller has published on the Studio.
Two roles matter here, and they are not the same thing:
- Sellers. For your own account information — your login email, your brand and page content, your order history — we are the ones who decide how it is used. This policy is our promise to you about that.
- Buyers and visitors on a seller's page. The seller who built that page is responsible for their own visitors and buyers, the same way any store is responsible for its own customers. We process that information only to run the Studio on the seller's behalf — to take the order, show the receipt, and keep the dashboard the seller sees. The seller's own store policies, linked on their pages, govern what they do with it. Nothing here overrides a seller's obligations under our Seller Terms to hold their own privacy policy and follow the law.
This policy does not cover Your Launch Log, the main Your Biz Bestie site, or any other Kreative Kapitol product with its own separate site; each of those has its own policy where it is sold.
2. Information we collect
From sellers
- Account: the email you sign in with. We use passwordless sign-in, so we never see or store a password.
- Your studio: everything you build — brand details, products, pages, funnels, posts, and the settings you choose.
- Files you upload: if a product has a digital download, the file itself. It is stored privately and only ever released to a buyer whose order for that product is paid and not refunded.
- Payments to you: when you connect Stripe, Stripe tells us your account ID and whether your account can accept charges. We never see your bank details, your Stripe login, or your card processing history — that lives in your own Stripe dashboard.
- Purchases from us: if you buy Your Selling Studio or Your Launch Log, Stripe handles your card. We keep the order record (what was bought, when, and the email used) so we can find your order if you write in.
- Your own connected AI: if you create a connector link under Settings → Your AI, whatever AI tool you paste it into (Claude, ChatGPT, or another) can read the same read-only shop stats already on your dashboard — sales, products, and page performance. That link only exists if you create one, you can remove it at any time, and it is never given buyer names, emails or addresses.
From buyers, on a seller's behalf
- Checkout: Stripe collects the email, name and (for a shipped order) address needed to complete a purchase and passes us what the seller's page needs to show a receipt and, for physical goods, fulfill the order.
- Sign-ups and class registrations: the email a visitor gives a seller's sign-up page, and the answers to whatever the seller's page asks for.
- Reviews: anything a buyer chooses to submit on a seller's review page.
Collected automatically
- Studio usage: ordinary web server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for the software you sign into at yoursellingstudio.com/studio, kept only to run and secure the service.
- Seller page counters: when someone visits a seller's published page, we count a page view against that seller's own daily totals, tagged with the traffic source if the link was tagged (for example, a specific Pinterest pin) and the general region a paid order shipped to. This is a running total, not a profile of any one visitor — see Section 3 for what we deliberately do not collect here.
3. What we do not collect
We built the Studio around a few hard lines, because "your buyers are your buyers" is a promise, not a slogan:
- Published seller pages run inside a locked browser mode (a strict Content Security Policy) that blocks the page from reading or writing cookies or any browser storage. This is not a setting a seller can turn off. It means the Studio itself does not plant tracking cookies, does not build cross-site advertising profiles, and cannot follow a visitor from one seller's page to another's.
- The dashboard a seller sees is built from aggregate counts, not a visitor-by-visitor log. We do not keep a list of "who looked at this page."
- We never see a buyer's full card number, expiration date or security code. Those go straight into Stripe's own checkout, which we never touch.
- We do not sell, rent or trade personal information to anyone, for any reason.
- We do not send marketing, newsletters or bulk email on a seller's behalf. When a seller wants to reach their own list, the Studio hands them a CSV file of their subscribers, or a blog RSS feed a reader can subscribe to on their own — never a broadcast we send. Seller Terms Section 9 says the same thing, in the same words, so this is not a policy that only lives on one page.
4. How we use information
- To run the Studio: create your account, save your work, process checkouts, deliver receipts and digital products, and show sellers their own dashboard.
- To keep the Studio working and secure: prevent fraud and abuse, debug problems, and enforce our Seller Terms.
- To communicate with you: transactional email only — a receipt, an order update, a password-free sign-in link, or a reply to something you wrote in about. Never marketing, unless you are a seller who has separately agreed to hear from us about the Studio itself.
- To meet legal obligations, such as responding to a lawful request or keeping the records tax and payments law requires.
5. Who we share information with
We share only what each of these providers needs to do its one job, never a full copy of everything we hold:
| Who | What for | What they get |
|---|---|---|
| Stripe | Payments, for sellers and for our own sales | Whatever Stripe's checkout collects directly from the buyer; we pass along order details, never a raw card number |
| Supabase | Our database and sign-in | Everything described in Section 2, encrypted and access-controlled |
| Cloudflare | Hosting, the site's CDN, and each seller's own connected domain | Ordinary web traffic and, for a domain a seller connects, the domain name itself |
| Cloudflare R2 | Storing the digital files a seller uploads for buyers to download | The files themselves, held privately; released only to a buyer whose order for that product shows as paid and not refunded |
| Resend | Sending transactional email (receipts, sign-in links, order updates) | The recipient's email and the content of that one email |
| Your Pin Producer, or any app a seller connects to their product feed | Reading a seller's own public product list to build pins or listings | Only the public, seller-published product feed (name, price, link, image) at a seller's own web address — never buyer information, which is never in that feed |
| A seller's own connected AI | Only if the seller creates a connector link in Settings → Your AI | The read-only shop stats already on that seller's dashboard — sales, products, page performance — never buyer names, emails or addresses |
We share information beyond this list only if the law requires it, to protect someone's safety, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case the new owner would be bound by a policy at least this protective for information already collected.
6. Ad pixels a seller turns on
A seller can choose to add their own advertising pixel (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest or Google) to their pages. When they do, that pixel is the seller's own tool, connected to the seller's own ad account, and it is the seller who decides to run it and the seller who is responsible for disclosing it. Because a pixel needs to set its own cookie to work, a page with one switched on is served from a separate address (the seller's own connected domain, or a Studio subdomain that belongs only to that seller) so it can never reach the sign-in cookie the Studio itself uses. We do not read the data a seller's pixel collects, and we do not write our own tracking into that page. A seller who turns this on must say so on their own page and cover it in their own privacy policy; the Studio shows a short notice, but does not write that policy for them.
7. Cookies and similar technology
The Studio itself (yoursellingstudio.com/studio, where sellers sign in and build) uses a small number of strictly necessary cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in and remember basics like your last brand switch. We do not use these for advertising, and we do not run any analytics or ad-tracking script of our own on the sign-in or studio pages. As explained in Section 3, a seller's published pages carry no Studio cookies at all, by design; the only exception is a page where the seller has switched on their own ad pixel, described in Section 6.
8. How long we keep information
We keep a seller's account and studio content for as long as the account is open, and for a reasonable period after in case of a dispute, a legal hold, or a request to restore an account. Order records are kept as long as tax and payments law requires. If you close your account or ask us to delete your information, we remove what we can and keep only what we are legally required to retain, such as financial records tied to a completed sale.
9. Your choices and rights
- Sellers: you can see and export your own list of subscribers as a CSV at any time from your dashboard. You can close your account by writing to us. You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to the retention limits in Section 8.
- Buyers: for anything you bought from a seller, start with that seller — they hold the order and can issue a refund, resend a delivery link, or remove you from a class roster. If a seller cannot help, or your request is about the Studio's own handling of your information rather than the purchase itself, write to us at the address in Section 15 and we will help directly.
- Marketing: we (the Studio) never send marketing email to a buyer — so there is nothing to opt out of from us on that front. A seller may separately market to their own buyers using their own tools and their exported list; that email comes from the seller, not us, and the seller's own unsubscribe and privacy obligations under our Seller Terms apply to it. A seller who separately hears from Your Biz Bestie about the Studio product itself can unsubscribe from that using the link in any such email.
10. Children
The Studio is a place of business. You must be at least 18 to hold a seller account, the same age requirement in our Seller Terms. The Studio is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. A seller whose own audience may include younger visitors is responsible for the content warning feature and their own compliance with children's privacy law; if we learn a child's information reached us in a way described here, we will delete it.
11. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit, database access rules that separate one seller's data from another's, and never handling raw card numbers ourselves. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee against every possible breach, but we work to keep this information only as long as it is useful and only where it needs to be.
12. Where information is processed
Our service providers (Section 5) operate primarily in the United States, and information described in this policy is generally processed there. If you are located outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different privacy laws than your home country.
13. Notice for US state residents
Some US states give their residents specific rights over personal information, such as the right to know what is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context advertising. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front. To exercise any right you have under your state's law, write to us at the address in Section 15 and we will respond as the law requires.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Studio changes. We will post the new version here with a new effective date, and for a change we consider significant, we will also say so on the Studio's dashboard.
