Your Selling Studio
Accessibility Statement
- We want everyone to be able to use the Studio and the pages built with it, including people who use screen readers, a keyboard instead of a mouse, or larger text.
- We build our page templates to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the widely used standard, and we test them with automated checks.
- The Studio warns a seller when a color choice may be hard to read, and gives every image a place to describe it.
- If something does not work for you, write to us. We will help you finish what you came to do and fix the problem.
What we aim for
Your Selling Studio is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, wherever we can. That covers this website, the Studio where sellers sign in and build, and the page templates sellers publish from. Accessibility is ongoing work. We check our pages with automated testing, fix what it finds, and re-check after changes. We have not yet had an outside accessibility audit, and we do not claim that every page meets every guideline.
What is built in
- Pages use real headings, labeled form fields, and links and buttons you can reach and use with a keyboard, with a visible outline showing where you are.
- Text is meant to be readable at the default size and when you zoom, and animation respects a device's "reduce motion" setting.
- Every image a seller adds has a place to describe it, and the Studio points out images that still have no description.
- When a seller picks colors that make text hard to read, the Studio tells them while they work.
- Ad pixels, if a seller turns them on, stay off until a visitor says yes.
Pages sellers build
Each seller decides what goes on their own pages: the words, the pictures, the colors, and any files, videos or audio they add. Our Seller Terms require sellers to describe their images, choose readable colors, caption or transcribe the video and audio they add, and fix a barrier promptly once they learn of one. We provide the tools, but we cannot promise that every page a seller builds meets any accessibility standard. If a seller's page has a barrier, tell the seller, or tell us and we will pass it on.
Known limits
- Payment forms are provided by Stripe, and some pages embed video or music from other services. Those parts have their own accessibility features and limits, which we do not control.
- Files a seller uploads for buyers, such as PDFs, planners and audio, are the seller's own work and may not be accessible to everyone.
- Some older pages may still have images without descriptions until their seller adds them.
Tell us about a barrier
If you cannot use part of the Studio or a page built with it, email hello@yoursellingstudio.com. Please include the address of the page, what you were trying to do, what went wrong, and the device, browser or assistive technology you use if you are comfortable sharing it. We aim to reply within five business days. If you were trying to buy something, we can help you complete the purchase by email, and we can send information in another format on request.
